How SiteMQ works

From request to live domain — start to finish.

You stay in control at every step. Your current website is never touched unless you actively point your domain. You only pay after you’ve seen the rebuild and decided you want it.

Phase 1

You request a rebuild

A no-charge way to see what SiteMQ would do with your site.

Drop your email and your current website on the homepage. We queue it as a request in our pipeline — no payment, no contract.

  • We check your domain is reachable and isn’t already connected to a SiteMQ account.
  • A SiteMQ operator reviews each incoming request so the queue stays clean and you get a rebuild that actually makes sense for your business.
  • If we can’t rebuild for any reason (domain offline, the site is already modern, or the business looks like it’s closed), we email you back instead of ghosting you.
Phase 2

We scrape and rebuild

Your existing content, into a modern Next.js site — usually within a day or two.

Once your request is approved, our pipeline does three things in order:

  1. Read your current site. Pages, copy, contact details, hours, services, photos. We archive everything so nothing is lost in translation.
  2. Rebuild it as a modern Next.js app. New layout, clean typography, proper mobile rendering, accessible by default. No WordPress plugins, no themes, no maintenance calendar.
  3. Deploy to Cloudflare Pages. Your rebuild gets a private preview URL on the global CDN — fast everywhere, HTTPS by default.

Your live website is not touched. Everything so far lives on a separate address that only you know about.

Phase 3

You preview — on your time

A private link to click through the whole thing before you commit to anything.

We email you the preview link. Open it on desktop, on your phone, send it to your partner or your assistant. There’s no countdown, no pressure.

  • Every page renders live, exactly as visitors would see it.
  • The preview is set to noindex so Google doesn’t pick it up.
  • If something’s wrong or missing — a service we didn’t pick up, a photo you’d rather swap — reply to the preview email and we’ll revise before you pay.
Phase 4

You claim it

Pick a plan, sign in with Google, pay through Stripe. Takes about two minutes.

When you’re ready, click Claim on the preview page. Three short screens:

  1. Sign in. Continue with Google (one click) or email and password. Your SiteMQ account is created on the spot.
  2. Checkout. Pick Starter, Pro, or Growth. Monthly or yearly — yearly saves 20%. Stripe handles the card; we never see it.
  3. Welcome. Your site is yours. You’re dropped into the dashboard with your next three steps laid out.

30-day refund. Claim, live with it, and if it doesn’t fit within 30 days we refund in full. You keep your content either way.

Phase 5

You point your domain

From preview URL to yourbusiness.com, without us ever touching your registrar.

This is the part most owners dread. We’ve made it about as painless as DNS gets.

  1. In the dashboard, type the domain you want to use (yourbusiness.com).
  2. We show you two DNS records to copy-paste into your registrar (GoDaddy, Namecheap, Squarespace, Cloudflare — whoever holds your domain): a CNAME for www, an ALIAS/A for the apex, and a TXT record so we can prove you own the domain.
  3. Click Verify now. We check the records from multiple DNS resolvers and flip the switch as soon as they all resolve — usually within a few minutes, sometimes up to a couple of hours depending on your registrar’s TTL.
  4. Cloudflare issues an SSL certificate automatically (30–60 seconds), and your domain is live on the new site.

Your old site stops serving your domain the instant you change the DNS — so do this step when you’re ready. Until then, your old site keeps running. If anything goes sideways, point the records back and you’re where you started.

Phase 6

You edit. We keep it online.

Hours change, services change, photos change. Click edit, type, publish — done in a minute.

Once you’re live, the dashboard is the only surface you ever need:

  • Edit in the browser. Type into the page, drop in photos, update hours. Every save triggers a deploy to Cloudflare Pages; the update is live on your domain within about a minute.
  • Version history. Every change is kept so you can roll back with one click if you miswrote something at 11pm.
  • We keep the infrastructure running. SSL renewals, CDN, security headers, dependency updates — none of it lands in your inbox.
  • Your content is yours. We host the code; you own every word, every image, every price. Cancel at any time and walk away with your content export.
